I’m a senior PHP and JavaScript developer so I’m used to having my hand held by a dynamically typed language.

After practicing some functional JavaScript courses, I really fell in love with the syntax of F# and have been trying to make it work where possible, though it’s been a while since I’ve learned something so new!

I’m about to drop out of work and launch my own point of sale app and am busy porting the PHP backend to F#. If all goes well, maybe I’ll port the JavaScript to Fable too!

Long term I would like to help evangelise F# and create a bunch of resources to make migrating from platforms other than .NET, or from the ground up much easier,
